Legends Cycle For PCUK

10 May 2014

Shane Duff and Russell Milton are both raising money for Prostate Cancer UK by facing their own challenges.

Two Cheltenham Town legends are taking on big challenges in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

Shane Duff and Russell Milton will be representing the club in two different challenges but with one goal - to help raise awareness and money for the Football League's charity partner Prostate Cancer UK.

Both legends can be sponsored right now through their JustGiving sites and we would ask all Robins to donate if they can to this fantastic cause - small or large, it all helps.

Duff, a former Cheltenham Town defender, offered his service to cycle from London to Amsterdam on behalf of the Football Club and has currently raised £732.51 of a £1,200 target ahead of the event in June. You can sponsor Duffo using the link below.

Milton, a former Robins winger and current Head of Youth, is also taking on his own challenge as he takes on the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey100 in August. Russell has currently raised £65 of a £750 target. You can sponsor Russell using his JustGiving site which can be accessed using the link below.

In the UK, about 1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Older men, men with a family history of prostate cancer and Black men are more at risk. It is important that we all unite to raise awareness and fight this killer disease.

Learn more about Prostate Cancer UK and the work they do at the official website: www.prostatecanceruk.org.
