Race Day 2 - Our Preview

12 March 2014

We run down the best odds available to you on Sky Bet ahead of day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival.

The horse to follow for football fans in the opening race on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival has to be Cup Final.

Ridden by the Champion AP McCoy who is looking for his first winner of the week and sporting the green and gold colours of JP McManus, Cup Final is on offer at 18/1 with Sky Bet for the Neptune Novices Hurdle.

The Irish hero of the first day Ruby Walsh starts as favourite with Sky Bet for the RSA Chase with Ballycasey on offer at 11/2 in a race which looks to be one of the closest of the week.

In the big race of the day, The Queen Mother Champion Chase, one time England striker Mick Channon saddles Somersby a 16/1 shot with Sky Bet while Gloucestershire’s hopes are resting on Tom George who sends out Module which is on offer at 20/1.

One Irish runner that might catch the eye of Robins fans is Noble Inn, which runs in the Fred Winter Handicap Hurdle and is priced at 20/1 with Sky Bet.

And Irish eyes could be smiling in the last of the day, The Weatherbys Champion Bumper. County Carlow trainer Willie Mullins has three of the top four in the betting with Sky Bet offering Shaneshill at 7/1 and Black Hercules and Killultagh Vic both at 8/1.

If you fancy taking a punt on any one of our tips today then sign up to Sky Bet using www.skybet.com/cheltenham and you could earn a FREE matched bet of up to £30 whilst earning £10 for Cheltenham Town Football Club.
