Jermaine 8/1 To Score First

27 March 2014

The best odds available on Sky Bet ahead of our Away Day at Hartlepool United.

The longest away day of the season for the Robins and even more reason to try and win yourself some money with Sky Bet.

Cheltenham Town will be travelling north in the hope that they can halt a run of two defeats with a positive result at Victoria Park but Hartlepool themselves will also be looking to bounce back following defeats to Oxford and Mansfield

Mark Yates' Cheltenham are 23/10 to win the game but Hartlepool are the favourites with odds of 6/5. A draw is currently worth 9/4 on Sky Bet and is largely the more attractive, and sensible, bet.

Our previous match with Hartlepool was back in December and it ended as a 2-2 draw although the Robins will largely see this as a game that was thrown away having been 2-0 up after just 38 minutes. Another 2-2 scoreline is worth 12/1 right now on Sky Bet but if you're feeling positive then a 2-0 or 3-1 Robins win is worth 9/1 and 18/1 respectively.

Jermaine McGlashan has opened the scoring in our last meeting and for the winger to do the same again you can get odds of 8/1 right now which could prove fantastic worth especially if he is used up front like in previous games. Another player worth having a punt on will be Troy Brown and he is 6/1 right now on Sky Bet. If you think Hartlepool could score first at Victoria Park then a bet on former Aston Villa powerhouse Marlon Harewood offers odds of 11/2 to score first.

There are some great odds right now on Sky Bet but we have picked out a few more which could represent great value ahead of the game on Saturday:

- A 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 scoreline? 2/1
- Mitch Brundle to score at any point during the 90 minutes? 14/1
- Both Luke James and Buron Harrison to score during the game? 6/1

Our bet of the weekend however will be Matt Richards to score first and Cheltenham Town to run out 1-0 victors which 70/1 is worth on Sky Bet. If you do take on our challenge, and if you are successful, then send proof of your winning bet to the media department (james.brown@ctfc.com) and you could win 2 match tickets to a future Cheltenham Town home fixture. We will need proof of the winning bet AND you must of course be a customer of Sky Bet having used the URL: www.skybet.com/cheltenham.
