Check out the best images from this weekend's 0-0 draw away at Fratton Park.

Cheltenham Town took a point from the South Coast in their first ever competitive meeting at Portsmouth's Fratton Park.

A 0-0 draw between the two sides was probably a just and deserving result but both teams had chances to perhaps pinch all three points with Ashley Vincent coming closest in the first half before seeing the woodwork deny him.

Portsmouth started well with good possession but Cheltenham had kept their hosts quiet for the first 20 minutes and it wasn't long before the Robins began to flex their own muscles. Terry Gornell came close on a couple of occasions before Ashley Vincent's stunning half volley was cruelly rebounded back off the post. Pompey had chances too with Ricky Holmes and Jake Jervis both wasting good chances but the Robins clearly edged the first half.

The second half however, back by a noisy atmosphere, Portsmouth began to control the game a little more and a number of chances were carved out by Holmes on the wing only for Troy Brown to intercept at every opportunity. Pompey came closest to sealing a win when a goalmouth scramble ensued before Scott Brown produced a fine save to deny his opponents. Several key performances earned a point for Mark Yates' side in this match and it was a result to be savoured in unfamiliar territory.
