Duo Join Evesham

28 March 2014

Youth prospects James Bowen and Adam Powell have joined Evesham United.

Both James Bowen and Adam Powell has this afternoon linked up with Evesham United on work experience deals.

The two youth team prospects will meet up with their new team-mates ahead of Evesham United's away game at Tiverton Town on Saturday after deals were signed here at the Abbey Business Stadium yesterday afternoon alongside former Robins and current Evesham manager Paul Collicutt.

James Bowen is a young defender who has been impressing under the stewardship of Russell Milton in the club's youth system. Bowen plays at left back but can play a more advanced role and he previously spent time with Bishop's Cleeve.

Adam Powell, a central midfielder, is another real prospect of the youth squad and another that has previous experience with Bishop's Cleeve.

Two more youth players, Harvey Rivers and Spencer Hamilton, have been appearing for Bishop's Cleeve in recent weeks and will once again play for our local neighbours in their home match versus Fleet Town.

Senior players Joe Hanks and Ed Williams are also out on loan at present with Gloucester City and will face Boston United away this weekend.

We can also confirm the departures of youth team players Kieran Whitehead and Zach Jones who were released from the Academy after meetings with Russell Milton. Kieran is heading to University in Florida and Zach is assessing his option. We would like to wish both players the very best of luck for the future.
