Spring Clean This Sunday

20 June 2014

Can you help give Whaddon Road a spring clean this Sunday?

Once again the Robins Trust will be leading a 'spring clean' of Whaddon Road on Sunday and they need volunteers.

Can you spare a few hours on Sunday this weekend to help fresh up the home of Cheltenham Town Football Club? Any supporters who would like to volunteer can meet the Robins Trust at Whaddon Road from 10am to help do jobs such as weeding, rubbish clearing, sweeping, cleaning and painting.

The day will be led by Trust member Leo Hoenig in the absence of Trust chairman Clive Gowing. Volunteers are asked to bring any tools or equipment they feel will be useful.

Robins chairman Paul Baker will also be on hand to help out and he's even promised a beer for those volunteers kind enough to help out on the day.

"I am delighted that the Robins Trust are taking a lead role in this year's ground 'Spring Clean'," he said.

"There is lots to be done, so we need as many volunteers as possible. Please come on down if you can spare a few hours. We want to make it fun too so there is a free beer on the Chairman at the end of the first session - and possibly the others too!"

Please note there is no need to contact the club in advance but please turn up at 10am here at Whaddon Road on Sunday where you will be greeted and welcome by the Robins Trust.
