Spring Clean Thank You

30 June 2014

The Robins Trust and volunteers have been working hard to give Whaddon Road a 'spring clean' in June.

On behalf of the entire club we would like to thank the Robins Trust and volunteers for their help in recent 'spring clean' sessions.

For three weekends, throughout June, the Trust have organised these sessions with the help of volunteers to help with various jobs around the stadium including weeding, painting and general cleaning.

This kind of work in the close season is important but without the help of the Trust and volunteers it would not have been so successful.

Thank you to all those than have generously given up their spare time to help.

In other news, an issue with the dugouts was raised at a recent 'Fan Panel' meeting and the board of directors have now had time to consider whether anything can be done to improve viewing.

The club did look at ways of relocating the dugouts to improve the view for fans in the Paddock and Tunnel enclosures but unfortunately the cost was prohibitive and it will not be possible at this time. This is partly because it would have involved relocating major cables which run underground along that side of the pitch.

If you have any constructive criticism or ideas about how to improve things at Whaddon Road then please email info@ctfc.com.
