The sponsorship agreement will see the Marchants Coaches brand emblazoned on the back of all Cheltenham Town first team shirts next season and the agreement also means that Marchants Coaches will provide the official team coach for the forthcoming campaign in League Two.

The news of this agreement further strengthens the links between both the Robins and Marchants who have long enjoyed a strong relationship. Marchants are the coach providers for the club’s official Travel Club and they also provide the ‘Park & Ride service at the racecourse on club matchdays.

Marchants have stepped up their support of Cheltenham Town however with this new agreement and it is yet another major local business throwing their support behind the Robins.

Marie Carter, Commercial and Marketing manager of Cheltenham Town said: “It is fantastic news for us that Marchants Coaches have opted to become our new back-of-shirt sponsors and therefore strengthen their relationship with us both on and off the pitch.

“With the sponsorship agreement we can also confirm that Marchants Coaches will be providing the official team coach. It makes perfect sense to have such a strong local company supporting us and we're even more delighted because they have been such strong supporters of ours over the years.”

A new-look official team bus will be unveiled ahead of the new season using the traditional Marchants colours of red and gold as well as the Cheltenham Town brand incorporated on the coach’s design.
