Check out the best pictures from Cheltenham Town's 3-1 friendly loss at home to Wolves.

Cheltenham Town were beaten 3-1 by a strong Wolves side in the first pre-season friendly of the summer on Friday night.

Goals from Sako Bakary, David Edwards and Leon Clarke had given the Championship side a 3-0 lead before Matt Richards bit back with a superb freekick to hand the Robins a consolation goal.

The Robins had started the evening well with Lee Vaughan, Craig Braham-Barrett and Asa Hall all enjoying good spells but Troy Brown's foul on Michael Jacobs gave Sako Bakary a chance to score from the spot and his cheeky effort down the middle did just that. It only took Wolves a matter of minutes before they had doubled their lead with Sako Bakary turning provider, finding Nouha Dicko who, in turn, set up Edwards to crash home their second from close range.

A long ball early on in the second half enabled substitute Leon Clarke to hammer home past Carson in the Cheltenham goal but Matt Richards did reduce the deficit with a wonderful freekick with half an hour left to play. The Robins never got themselves any closer to reducing Wolves' lead but there were plenty of positives to mull over as pre-season gets underway.
