Cheltenham played out a 1-1 draw with Bath City in roasting temperatures at Twerton Park this weekend.The Robins kept possession well for much of the first half but they rarely threatened with Koby Arthur and Terry Gornell both wasting chances but it was Bath who were to take the lead through winger Stearn following a good searching pass from former Robins Frankie Artus.
Cheltenham improved after the break with Steve Elliott and Omari Sterling-James having a positive effect but it was a foul on Joe Hanks by another former Robin Andy Gallinagh that provided the leveller. Matt Richards stepped up for the spot kick before thumping it down the middle beyond the goalkeeper to confirm a second draw of pre-season.
