Shaun North leaves Cheltenham Town

3 December 2014

Shaun North has today left his post as first team coach at Cheltenham Town Football Club.

Shaun had been with the club since the start of the season having joined as second in command to former manager Mark Yates in the summer.

A UEFA Pro Licence qualified coach, Shaun was previously assistant manager at Portsmouth, Torquay United and Bristol Rovers and joined Cheltenham Town from a coaching role at AFC Wimbledon.

"I've really enjoyed my time working for Cheltenham Town," said Shaun.

"It's a nice family club and everybody makes you feel very welcome. I'd like to thank all the staff for their help over the last six months and to wish Paul Buckle and everyone the very best of luck for the future."

Cheltenham Town chairman Paul Baker commented: "I would like to place on record my thanks to Shaun for his work since the start of the season.

"He has worked extremely hard during his short time with the club and we wish him well for the future. I have little doubt that we will encounter Shaun again with an opposition team before very long."
