It's the biggest game of the season - Paul Baker

1 December 2014

Excitement building ahead of FA Cup showdown

Cheltenham Town chairman Paul Baker says Sunday's FA Cup second round home tie against Dover Athletic is the most important match of the season.

"It's a massive game and it could make the difference between making £250,000 in the third round, or making nothing," Baker said.

"We all know how good the FA Cup has been for this club over the years, so the opportunity to get through and draw a Premier League club is an amazing opportunity.

"We've got through one round, which not many people expected and now we take on Dover, who are going well in the Conference.

"I am sure Paul (Buckle) will have the players up for the game and they would relish the chance to be in the third round draw."
