The Gloucestershire Football Association are running a festival of football for local children.
The Gloucestershire FA Youth Council will be hosting a World Cup themed festival during the school summer holidays, providing the opportunity for children to play as well as the chance for young leaders to get invovled in delivering the day.The afternoon festival will take place on Wednesday 13 August (12.30pm to 3.15pm) will take on a World Cup theme where children in school years 5 & 6 (as of 2013/14) will be given the opportunity to play in a variety of games in fun and enjoyable environment.
Upon arrival players will be put in to teams, each given a World Cup nation to represent for the festival.
The GFA will also be providing workshops for any young leaders/coaches/referees aged 14 to 21 who may want to get involved in the Football Futures Programme that one of our own youth coaches, Pete Haynes, has been involved with.
