Free Travel To Shrewsbury

20 August 2014

Cheltenham Town is offering free coach travel to those supporters caught up in the recent Bury coach delays.

The club is offering free travel to Shrewsbury for fans affected by the recent coach delays on the way to and from Bury on the opening day of the season.

Fans travelling by the official travel club coaches were unfortunately stuck in traffic on the way to the Bury game and arrived after kick-off. To make matter worse, those fans were delayed on the way home by a number of hours due to a puncture and they were forced to wait for a replacement coach.

Although both of these incidents were out of the club's control, the decision has been made to offer fans on that troubled coach trip the opportunity to travel to Shrewsbury and back FREE of charge.

The Shrewsbury fixture is on Saturday 11 October (3pm kick-off). Ticket and travel sales for this fixture won't be open for another few weeks but Travel Club operator Jim Haggin will produce vouchers shortly for those fans who can claim free travel. A list of names will be checked so please only claim free travel if you purchased a travel club seat to and from Bury.
