Yates: We Have To Be Better

20 April 2014

Mark Yates is expecting a physical battle away at Mansfield but wants more from his players.

Cheltenham chief Mark Yates speaking to the media ahead of the away day at Mansfield Town (3pm Monday):

"Do you go to be as big and as competitive as they are and do something that is different to you? Or do you try and do what you think you do best?

"We'll have to sit down and make sure everyone is fit, ready and available to pick a team that will go there and puts in a performance that gets us three points.

"Mansfield have got more points than us so there is no right or wrong way. They are a big team and they are a threat from set pieces. We got sucked in earlier in the season when they scored early and then frustrated us so we have to deal with it and deal with it better than we did for 5 minutes against Fleetwood."

Cheltenham Town's odds of winning are 12/5 this weekend right now on Sky Bet. Sign up to the Football League's betting partners this weekend at our specific URL ( and you can earn the club £10 whilst getting a matched bet of up to £30 yourself.
