Wanted: World Cup Reporter

7 April 2014

We're looking for a young Robins fan to cover England's World Cup journey here on www.ctfc.com.

The end of the season approaches but we have an exciting opportunity for a young writer out there from our fanbase.

England will soon head off to Brazil to start their 2014 World Cup campaign and here at Cheltenham Town we are right behind the Three Lions but we're looking for a young reporter to help us cover England's pre-tournament friendlies and their games in the World Cup itself.

We are keen to have a match report for each upcoming England game here on www.ctfc.com and we are throwing this opportunity out for a young Robins fan keen on building their CV and reporting skills.

To qualify as our World Cup reporter you must:

- Be between the ages of 14 and 20
- Enjoy match reporting and writing
- Be on hand to watch the England games (obviously!)
- Have access to email

Upcoming and confirmed games to be reported on are: Peru (H) 30.5.14 | Ecuador (N) 4.6.14 | Honduras (N) 7.6.14 | Italy (N) 14.6.14 | Uruguay (N) 19.6.14 | Costa Rica (N) 24.6.14

If you are interested then please email Media & Communications officer James Brown (james.brown@ctfc.com) with any example of previous written work and a 500 word preview of England's World Cup campaign.

The deadline to enter is Monday 28 April 2014 (10am). A decision will be made by the media department and our new World Cup reporter will have his/her report published here on www.ctfc.com.
