Loan & Youth Watch

Three young Robins were in action last night out on loan or work experience.

Several young Cheltenham Town prospects were in action last night in non-league action.

Attacking midfielder Ed Williams was named on the bench by Gloucester City for their Conference North home match versus Workington last night and he was brought on by Tim Harris in the 87th minute. Gloucester went on to draw the game 1-1.

Two of Russell Milton's youth players were also in action. Both Elliott Keightley and Bobbie Dale were in action for Bishop's Cleeve at Kayte Lane and both played the full 90 minutes. Cheltenham Town academy coach and former player Chris Burns has recently taking the management reigns following the departure of John Brough and he was joined in the dugout by another former Robins player, Keith Knight.

Burns handed starts to both Elliott and Bobbie and the two youngsters went on to help Cleeve defeat Bridgwater 2-0 which was Burns' first win as Cleeve manager.

Don't forget that the senior team is in action on Good Friday (3pm kick-off) and will take on Fleetwood Town here at the Abbey Business Stadium. Buy tickets online here.
