Exeter Rewind

12 April 2014

Take a look back at our last meeting with the Grecians back on Boxing Day 2013.

The last meeting between the Robins and the Grecians was a Christmas affair on Boxing Day 2013.

Cheltenham Town went into the game having never lost to Exeter City and they were soon celebrating once again with a 1-0 victory that handed a much needed late Christmas present to all home supporters.

Jamie Cureton's 13th minute strike was enough for the Robins to record a 9th successive win over Exeter City and it was a goal that the former Grecian did not celebrate due to his close affiliations with the Devon-based club.

Paul Tisdale's Exeter did have plenty of pressure in the second half after the Robins failed to extend their lead but an impressive performance by Scott Brown and his defenders ensure three points and a clean sheet.
