2/1 For A Robins Win

16 April 2014

The best odds available to you on Sky Bet ahead of our game versus Fleetwood Town on Friday.

The Robins will have their hands full on Good Friday with Fleetwood Town still aiming to hit the top three.

There will no Easter Egg hunt for the Cod Army but instead the hunt for three points is absolutely vital if they are to maintain their push for automatic promotion. If Fleetwood fail to win then it looks like the play-odds will beckon. For Cheltenham though there is a sense of pride that needs to be achieved and a win at home would certainly improve everyone's Easter.

Cheltenham Town are currently valued at 2/1 to beat Fleetwood on Friday but the travelling Cod Army have odds of 11/8 and will be no pushovers. A draw between the sides is currently worth 11/5.

This will only be the fourth occasion in which the two teams have faced each other in competitive action and the previous encounter at their Highbury Stadium was a 2-0 victory for the Robins. Troy Brown and Jermaine McGlashan scored the goals to win the match and if you think Troy can open the scoring again then there are odds of 14/1 at present. If you think Jermaine McGlashan can score the final goal of the game again then that has odds of 9/1. The presence of Antoni Sarcevic will certainly be a thorn in the side of Cheltenham Town on Friday though and he is good value at 5/2 to score at any point during the 90 minutes.

Over the past three encounters between the two clubs there has been two draw and one victory for the Robins. The win was of course back in December and the same scoreline of 2-0 to Cheltenham Town will fetch odds of 14/1. The last match versus Fleetwood here at the Abbey Business Stadium was a 2-2 draw and the same scoreline on Good Friday will give you odds of 12/1. We feel however that it is going to be a tight game and a 1-1 scoreline would certainly be a good bet with odds of 9/2.

There are some great odds right now on Sky Bet but we have picked out a few more which could represent great value ahead of the game on Friday:

- Fleetwood to be winning at half time but the Robins to be level at full time? 14/1
- The game to end with a 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 draw? 3/1
- Harry Williams to score and for Cheltenham to win? 7/1

Our bet of the weekend however will be Byron Harrison to score first and for Cheltenham Town to win 2-1 and that is currently worth 45/1 on Sky Bet. If you do take on our challenge, and if you are successful, then send proof of your winning bet to the media department (james.brown@ctfc.com) and you could win 2 match tickets to a future Cheltenham Town home fixture. We will need proof of the winning bet AND you must of course be a customer of Sky Bet having used the URL: www.skybet.com/cheltenham.
