The best images from this weekend's 4-2 defeat away at Torquay United.
Another disappointing day for the Robins as they fell to a 4-2 defeat away at Torquay United's Plainmoor.
Once again their day started with a defensive mishap and Torquay made no mistake with Callum Ball snatching the lead after just two minutes. Cheltenham Town responded well and Byron Harrison had headed in the equaliser ten minutes later. The Robins were playing well and came close through Elliott, Lowe and Harrison but it was Torquay who snatched the lead back just before half time with Callum Ball's strike deflecting off the boot of Steve Elliott.
The Gulls made a perfect start to their second half with Karl Hawley's fine striker but Cheltenham gave themselves a glimmer of hope with Terry Gornell's neat finish midway through the second period. Mark Yates' Cheltenham huffed and puffed but found no way through the Torquay defence and it was the hosts that finished the game in style with Jordan Chappell grabbing a late winner to confirm a 4-2 victory.
