Wilson Called Up

7 October 2013

James Wilson has been called up by Wales for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Cheltenham Town defender James Wilson has been called up to the Wales squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

James, who is on loan from Bristol City, was initially on the backup list for Wales but Chris Coleman has now called the 24 year-old up into his squad to face FYR Macedonia and Belgium.

Wales face FYR Macedonia on Friday and then travel to Belgium next Tuesday and this rules James out of our Sky Bet League Two match away at Dagenham & Redbridge at the weekend. This match currently stands as James' final game on his initial loan spell.

To date James has made 4 appearances in the heart of Cheltenham Town's defence and has helped keep one clean sheet.
