The Cheltenham Town Ladies night proved to be a huge success.
The arrival of the Morecambe home game last Tuesday night also saw the arrival of 28 fabulous ladies to our CGT Lounge.
Some Cheltenham fans, others complete newbies, the women were treated to a night of fun with various treats and goodies.
Hosted by our Marketing Manager, Marie Carter, the evening began with a glass of pink fizz and a catch up with some old Cheltenham Town legends, Shane Duff and John Finnigan. They answered questions and explained some of the more complicated rules of the game!
A buffet was served and the women had the chance to explore stalls offering sweet treats and jewellery as well as taking home goodie bags.
The Cobalt Unit were also present, and gave some very informative, interesting and quite moving presentations about the work they do and the funds they are raising. This was supported as a raffle raised an incredible £355 for the cause. The support stretched across the whole club, and prizes were won by a variety of hospitality and Ladies Night guests (and even some match day staff!)
After a successful evening for the Ladies, it was the mens turn, and a stunning 3-0 win over Morecambe rounded off the night brilliantly! The atmosphere was electric and hopefully some new fans have been introduced to the club.
Cheers to all the ladies who attended, and a huge congratulations to the Cobalt Unit for their success.
