Cleeve Return For Ed

25 October 2013

Cheltenham Town's Ed Williams has re-joined Bishop's Cleeve on a one month loan spell.

Ed Williams has re-joined Bishop's Cleeve on loan for an additional month this afternoon.

Ed, 18, has spent the last two month on loan with the Calor Southern League side and has so far made 11 appearances and scored 2 goals during that time.

"It's first team football for me and that is important," said Ed.

"I'm happy with my performances for Cleeve and I think I'm doing well for them. It has been easy for me to settle in there because a lot of the boys there are ex-Cheltenham youth so the bond is already there. Hopefully I can keep performing and impressing."

Joe Hanks had been on loan alongside Ed at Bishop's Cleeve but he is to remain with the first team after appearing on the substitutes bench on Tuesday night.

Ed's next fixture in Cleeve colours will be their home match versus Clevedon Town on Saturday.
