28 November 2013

Talented winger Zack Kotwica has today joined Gloucester City on one month youth loan.

Cheltenham Town winger Zack Kotwica has today linked up with Gloucester City on a youth loan deal.

Zack, 17, has been very much involved in the Robins first team this season but a deal has been struck with Gloucester which will hand the winger much needed first team matches in the Skrill Conference North for a month.

"It's important for Zack to get some first team games," said Robins manager Mark Yates.

"He is an exciting prospect for this football club and first team football at Gloucester City will help his development. He'll also be able to play for the youth team in the FA Cup which is a big positive too."

Zack Kotwica is a second year scholar here at Cheltenham Town but he was handed a 2 year professional contract at the start of the season and was handed squad number 19 after impressing in pre-season. He has made 12 appearances for the Robins in all competitions so far this season and he made his professional debut in the 2-2 at home to Burton Albion.
