Dave Kevan has today left the club to become the assistant manager at Forest Green Rovers.

First team coach Dave Kevan has today left Cheltenham Town Football Club to take up a new role with Forest Green Rovers.

Dave was handed a part time coaching role here at the Abbey Business Stadium back in September but has opted to join Conference Premier side Forest Green in a role that will see him work under Adrian Pennock as assistant manager.

The 45-year old has had coaching spells at clubs such as Burnley, Notts County and Stoke City in recent years but his new role at Forest Green will be a fresh chapter in his coaching career.

"Dave has been great around the place since being here," said Mark Yates.

"He came here on a part time basis but he now has the opportunity of a full time position with Forest Green. I'd like to thank Dave for his efforts and we all wish him the very best."

One behalf of everyone involved at Cheltenham Town FC we would like to thank Dave for his efforts over the past few months in his role as first team coach and we wish him the very best at Forest Green.
