The Robins made it 4 games unbeaten with a 2-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers at Adams Park.

Jamie Cureton's opener was ruled out by a Matt McClure equaliser but Sam Deering's deflected cross won the game for Cheltenham in what was a deserved victory for Mark Yates' side.

The first half lacked much action but Jamie Cureton threatened to take the game to Wycombe himself with a number of chances but the Chairboys weren't without their threats and forced Sido Jombati and Scott Brown into making good saves to deny the hosts an opener. Cheltenham looked a different animal in the second half however and a Jason Taylor pass found the lurking Cureton within the heart of Wycombe's penalty box and the veteran striker supplied the finish to take the lead on 56 minutes.

That lead only lasted ten minutes however with Wycombe substitute Matt McClure smashing a shot past Scott Brown after a decent attacking move from the home side. The Chairboys lost their concentration however and a heavily deflected Sam Deering cross off the boot of Billy Knott lifted over Matt Ingram and into the back of the net for what would prove to be the winning goal. Wycombe piled pressure on the Cheltenham defence in the dying embers of the game but the backline, led by Steve Elliott, held together well to claim all three points.
