The best images from Cheltenham Town's 0-0 draw at home to Bristol Rovers.
A second successive 0-0 draw for Cheltenham Town but it was a frustrating night in front of goal in a game they should have won.
To their credit, Bristol Rovers were solid and organised - what you would expect from a John Ward side, but it was Cheltenham's failure to show true quality in front of goal that ultimately secured just one point rather than all three.
The Robins had been the better team throughout the first half and came close through Cureton and Gornell but it was Rovers who showed more dominance in the second period and they even had the ball in the back of the net although it had been ruled out for offside. A Scott Brown save denied right back Michael Smith what would have been a memorable goal and the Robins attackers huffed and puffed but could not break down the Rovers barricade.
