The best images from a disappointing FA Cup weekend for Cheltenham Town.

It was a disappointing FA Cup weekend for Cheltenham as they lost 1-0 away at Tamworth.

There would be no FA Cup adventure for the Robins this season with a poor first half performance giving Tamworth the goal they needed to hang onto and book their spot in the second round.

The Lambs started well and credit must be given to Dale Belford's side for their game plan. They hit the bar before capitalising on a defensive slip from Craig Braham-Barrett to open the scoring through their striker Nick Chadwick. Cheltenham offered little threat after the opening goal although Jamie Cureton could have equaliser before half time but pulled his shot wide of goal.

Mark Yates' side were a different animal in the second half with Steve Elliott's introduction having the desired effect. The Robins came close frequently through Cureton, Gornell and Harrison but nothing would break from the increasingly frustrating performance. Keith Lowe could, and should have, had a penalty in the dying embers of the game but credit went to Tamworth and their day in the sun.
