Spirax Sarco were our 2013 6-a-side Challenge Champions.
Saturday 19 May saw the return of our annual 6-a-side challenge here at the Abbey Business Stadium.Â
Teams from local businesses took part including Spirax Sarco, Ilec and Imec, GE Aviation, Crowe Clark Whitehill, Alutool and Trelleborg. All of the teams enjoyed bacon rolls and refreshments in our club bar, before heading out onto the pitch.
The tournament started with group stages on the hallowed turf with teams from Spirax Sarco, Ilec and Imec, Crowe Clark Whitehill and FC Lakeside proceeding through to the semi finals. The final was a thrilling clash between Spirax Sarco and Ilec and Imec with Spirax (pictured) going on to become champions. Congratulations!
