Cheltenham Town will host Premier League new boys Cardiff City in the 2013-14 pre-season.
Premier League new boys Cardiff City will take on Cheltenham Town at the Abbey Business Stadium in July.The game will be played on Saturday 27 July with a kick off time of 3pm. Malky Mackay will be bringing a first team squad to Gloucestershire as his side prepares for their first season in the Premier League. Players such as Craig Bellamy and Fraiser Campbell will be in line to take on the Ruby Robins so this is a friendly you will not want to miss.
Ticket prices for this friendly have yet to be confirmed but we will bring you news of this in the coming weeks.
The Bluebirds were champions of the npower Championship this season and will be facing the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea next season. They were of course pre-season opponents of ours last season and Cardiff ran out 4-0 victors courtesy of goals from Andrew Taylor, Robert Earnshaw, Craig Conway and Peter Whittingham.
