Manager meets players as we reach the end of the 2012-13 season.
Robins chief Mark Yates has met his players this morning as the end of season fitness checks take place.Individual and group meetings were held and there will be further news on contract situations next week as the 2012-13 season comes to a close. Cheltenham lost out in the 2012-13 play-off semi-finals to Northampton Town but plans are already underway for the 2013-14 campaign.
"It's all been about wrapping a few things up today really," said Mark.
"We have been taking body fats and weights before the players head off for the summer. Jason Murphy and Weso have been giving them all individual programmes and of course it is a chance for us to say thank you and well done for their efforts this season. It's all about getting them ready to go again next season.
"They are a terrific group to work with and to make the play-offs two years in a row is testament to this group. The board have got a budget meeting next week and I've spoken to all of the boys today including those that are on contracts for next season. It has been initial talks with the boys out of contracts. None of them have pestered me about contracts and they have all been great."
Earlier today we announced a pre-season friendly v. Cardiff City which will take place on Saturday 27 July. You can read more here.
Season Tickets are already on sale for next season and you can get yours for cheaper if you buy it before the end of May.Â
