Check out the best images from this weekend's 3-2 defeat at Port Vale.

A bitter blow to the hopes of automatic promotion but Cheltenham perhaps deserved more with a spirited second half display.

A Tom Pope hat trick was the difference between two teams vying for a spot in the top three of npower League Two but without Scott Brown, the Robins may well have been out of the game by half time.

Port Vale suffered an early blow with the hamstring injury of Lee Hughes but it wasn't long before they snatched the lead through Tom Pope. Vale could have scored more had Scott Brown not made some excellent saves from both Williamson and Taylor. Half time changes which saw Keith Lowe and Byron Harrison enter the game made all the difference and the Robins were level just minutes into the second period when Harrison's shot was pushed away into the path of Mohamed who scored his 7th of the season. Minutes later Paul Benson has taken the lead for Cheltenham when Mohamed's corner was headed down by Hector and the striker pounced at the back post.

You could not take your eyes off an enthralling match and Tom Pope pulled the scores level when he smashed in another corner leaving Brown with no chance. The League Two player of the year won the game with his third goal with a delightful chip and Cheltenham were left with no answer.
