Mark Yates' men stepped up their game against a good Coventry side.
Cheltenham chief Mark Yates speaking to the media following tonight's 2-0 defeat against Coventry City:"There were some good things, one or two things we've got to improve at. It's not about tonight, or last Saturday, or next Saturday. It's about 10 days time against Burton.
"Our fitness levels have obviously stepped up and we got a lot of things right. There are still a few things we need to work at but we've just got to be better.
"There were lots of decent performances, I thought Matt Richards and Troy Brown were excellent, Scott Brown was his usual, dependable self when we needed him.
"Terry Cornell, was excellent, Jamie's (Cureton) movement was excellent but he couldn't get a finish on it.
"There are lots of positives but we're building up to Burton and we're coming along nicely."
