Sky Blue Robins

27 July 2013

The brand new 2013-14 Sky Blue away shirt has been revealed here at the Abbey Business Stadium today.

The new 2013-14 away shirt has today been revealed at the Cardiff City friendly.

The Sky Blue strip will be Cheltenham Town's away kit for the next two seasons and goes on sale immediately after the Cardiff friendly. Fans at the game can buy it from the club shop after the full time whistle and an announcement on when it's available online will be made next week.

Last season's third kit, which was also Sky Blue, drew excellent feedback from supporters and that reaction inspired the new design which will replace the familiar blue and black stripes which have been used over the past three seasons. That 'Inter Milan' style kit will now be used as a third kit if ever needed.

Cheltenham Town team captain Russ Penn was chosen as the poster boy for the new-look away strip and he admitted he loved the new design.

"I love it," he said.

"We were fans of the third kit when we wore it last season and I know the supporters were keen on it so it's good to see the club have used that feedback. We're ready for the new season now and it's nice to have a change of away kit because it's been the blue and black stripes since I've been here!

"I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of Sky Blue Robins travelling far and wide with us this season!"

The prices for the 2013-14 Sky Blue strip are as follows:

Adult Shirt | £36.99
Junior Shirt | £28.99

Adult Shorts | £15.99
Junior Shorts | £12

Adult Socks | £8.99
Junior Socks | £6.99

The first team took on Premier League new boys Cardiff City wearing Sky Blue this afternoon and a match gallery will be available on Sunday for those of you who couldn't make the game and want to see the away kit in action for the first time.
