The Robins lost their final friendly of the summer as Kidderminster Harriers ran out 3-1 victors.
The hosts took a deserved lead from Callum Gittings but Zack Kotwica equalised just a minute later and Cheltenham Town were back in the game. The first half ended as quite an even affair but Kidderminster took control in the second half and they were back in lead after the hour mark when Marvin Johnson's wing work set up Michael Gash who made no mistake in slamming in their second of the night.
Cheltenham lacked ideas after that point despite positive performances from Joe Hanks, Ed Williams and Zack Kotwica. Harriers put the result beyond doubt when Ryan Rowe slammed in a goal on 88 minutes and Cheltenham not turn their focus to more important matters - League Two.
