The best images from the 7-0 friendly victory over Evesham United in pre-season action.

Cheltenham Town swept Evesham United aside to score seven in their opening pre-season friendly of the summer.

Pre-season is all about the fitness and performance rather than the result but there were plenty of positives in a match where two new signings scored along with a trialist and a brace from a blossoming youth team player.

New signing Jamie Cureton scored first with a close range header before Evesham's right back Jared Wilson scored an own goal to make it 2-0. Evesham had their only serious effort on goal of the game soon after but Linden Dovey's effort was well saved by Scott Brown. Another new signing, Troy Brown, thumped a header past Bateman in goal to make it 3-0 as half time was called on a hot summer's not in Evesham.

The Robins kicked things off in the second half with a fourth goal which came courtesy of on trial striker George Bowerman and his effort was followed up by Byron Harrison who scored from the spot after being felled inside the area. Youth team players Zack Kotwica and Bobbie Dale were introduced and made a sizeable contribution with the latter scoring a brace to make it 7-0.
