Check out the best images from the weekend's 2-1 friendly win at Cirencester Town.

A second win in pre-season for Cheltenham Town as they beat Cirencester 2-1 in boiling temperatures.

The Corinium Stadium was bathed in sunlight for this one but it didn't take long for Cheltenham to open the scoring when Jermaine McGlashan's cross found the head of Jamie Cureton who steered his effort past the goalkeeper for 1-0. Cirencester were giving the Robins a good game and they grabbed a goal for themselves in the 27th minute courtesy of a memorable strike from Joe Shephard who left Connor Roberts stretched to no avail.

Cheltenham were back in front just minutes after Cirencester had equalised after some superb approach play linked together by Harrison, Cureton and finally Sam Deering who tucked his shot away in the bottom corner.

The second half began but it was a less energetic display from both sides with the heat beaming down upon the pitch. Terry Gornell was brought on to make his first appearance in a Cheltenham shirt and there were once again impressive performances from young Zack Kotwica and Josh Rees. A decent workout for the players as the game ended 2-1 and now the Robins head to Glamorgan University for a week of training.
