Harry Out For 12 Weeks

16 January 2013

Harry Hooman will be out of action for up to 12 weeks with a foot injury.

Young Robins defender Harry Hooman will be out for up to 12 weeks with a foot injury.

Harry separated his sesamoid bone and disrupted a ligament at the base of his big toe and goes into surgery today. It's a blow for Harry and senior sports therapist Ian Weston admitted it would be a lengthy process for the 21 year-old.

"It's a blow for Harry," said Ian.

"He goes into surgery today and will be in a cast for two weeks following the operation. He'll then be moved into another cast for another four weeks which will give him more movement in the foot but, after that, it will be a period of rehab to get back fit and involved."

Harry, who has made six appearances so far this season, is the only player on the injury list currently with a fully fit squad expected to travel to Morecambe on Friday. More team news will be available following the manager's weekly press call tomorrow morning.
