The Robins Wall

13 December 2013

The Robins Wall is the place to be for everything Cheltenham Town FC 24/7 but we need your help.

Cheltenham Town are launching an exciting new website feature that brings together all of the excitement and buzz of the online conversation around the Robins.

The Wall, powered by ScribbleLive, aggregates all of the social media activity around the club to create the go-to place for live news, commentary, video highlights, interviews and opinion.

The pace of change in the digital world has been fast but the club has been working hard, with often limited resources, to change the culture in recent times of how supporters access online content around Mark Yates and his side.

It's so important to us that the supporters continue to take centre stage in the ongoing story at the Abbey Business Stadium.

And this new initiative essentially presents fans with a one-stop shop for online club content, as it unfolds.

It also provides another avenue to share their thoughts with the club, whatever they maybe.

Our growing presence on Robins Player, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and, most recently, YouTube offers our loyal following an array of written and video content throughout the week.

Now with the players, not to mention our Youth and Ladies teams plus Community department regularly taking to Twitter alone, it's important to channel it all into in one hub.

So how does it work? Well for starters you can use it to ask us a question, or tell us what you're thinking.

Fans can simply sign in to The Wall using social their media accounts and leave comments and video messages, and we'll supply a response.

Would you have picked a different side? Different formation? Never a penalty?

The Cheltenham Town media team will also share your Tweets, comments on Facebook and pictures on Instagram before, during and after the game to get the chat and debate going.

By continuing to use the #ctfc hashtag, whichever social media account you prefer to use, you'll be heard by our sharing team led by James Brown, the Cheltenham Town media officer.

"We want The Wall to be the central hub of everything to do with Cheltenham Town online," said James.

"We've worked hard in trying to build various social media outlets for our supporters to enjoy and by using The Wall, all that information will be in one place to give easier access to the fans.

"It's not just about the club on The Wall though. It works both ways, and we want fans to get involved as much as possible.

"We want to see opinions, pictures and videos so that we can share it to The Wall for everyone to see and comment on. We need as much help as much as possible to make this a community everyone can enjoy both on a matchday and during the week.

"Together we can make The Wall the place to be for all Cheltenham Town fans."

Head over to the The Wall and get involved. Together we're part of the story.
