Cheltenham Town made it 8 games unbeaten in the league with a 1-0 victory over Morecambe in Sky Bet League 2.
It was the second time that Mark Yates' side had toppled Morecambe this season but it was also a first ever win away at Morecambe for in the Robins' history.
There were periods in the game in which the loyal travelling support had to remain patient whilst Cheltenham chipped away at their solid and frustrating opponents but Morecambe's goalkeeper Barry Roche was on hand to rescue his side on numerous occasions when Byron Harrison and Jermaine McGlashan threatened to open the scoring. A goalmouth scramble ahead of half time threatened to hand Cheltenham a lead with 5 attempts on goal coming in 10 seconds but again Morecambe survived.
The Robins continued to push and pile on the pressure and finally got their reward 10 minutes from time. Matt Richards' freekick was headed back across goal by Jombati and Troy Brown was on hand to score his second goal of the season and seal all three points for his side.
