Mark Yates demands more from his players aftera heavy defeat at Gigg Lane.
Robins chief Mark Yates speaking to the press following this afternoon's 4-1 loss at Gigg Lane:"It wasn't good enough. It was a great start and then  we conceded three goals in the space of seven or eight minutes, and that's not good enough. We need to start again and discover our identity because we're getting beat at both ends of the pitch and we're conceding too many goals at the moment. We've got to get back to basics.
"Our last two performances (at Accrington and West Ham) have been good and we went one nil up and we had the extra man in midfield, but the goals they've got were too easy, and it could have been more.
"Yes we picked up a couple of injuries to key defenders but it just wasn't good enough. We played aright in the second half but it didn't matter because they were fairly comfortable. We're not anywhere where we need to be at either end of the pitch at the moment.
"Craig Braham-Barrett has injured his ankle and it looks swollen. He should have stayed down, and we could have got Ian Weston over to him. Instead he played on and played their player onside - it wasn't good enough.
"I don't think Billy (Jones) has played yet this season so I thought Sido (Jombati) was the player to go on instead. Steve (Elliott) got a nasty elbow and I think he was out for a while so he had to come off. His jaw and cheek are sore.
"We get back on to the training ground tomorrow because we've got a game on Tuesday (against Plymouth Argyle at the Abbey Business Stadium) and to be honest, we need to have a bit of a head count. I've got four or five walking wounded or injured so I'll have to have a think. Whoever plays on Tuesday can stake a claim because at the moment, no-one is doing that. It's up to someone to say 'that shirt's mine'.
"Plymouth beat us two weeks ago and we have to stand up to them and try and do what we do properly. Scott Brown is the only player out there who was excellent.
"We take responsibility together and it was a poor performance and we'll try to put it right on Tuesday night."
