Young winger Zack Kotwica has today signed a 2 year professional contract with the club.

Zack Kotwica has today signed his first professional contract which will seem him through until 2015.

The 17 year-old winger is a second year scholar but he has impressed whilst training with the first team and he was an impressive performer in pre-season. Zack has been named on the substitutes bench for all three of Cheltenham Town competitive games so far this season and he has made three appearances.

His professional debut came in the 2-2 draw at home to Burton Albion and Mark Yates is keen for the youngster to get his head down and work hard.

"Now is the time for Zack to knuckle down and work hard," said Mark.

"Zack is another locally born player and we are delighted with that but it doesn't mean too much. He needs to work hard to become a good player and get his head down. He has done well so far this season and he need to continue doing so."

The Gloucester-born youngster was handed squad number 19 ahead of the new season by Mark Yates and he is the latest locally produced player to sign a professional deal with the club following in the footsteps of Joe Hanks and Ed Williams.
