The Robin maintained their impressive home form with a 0-0 draw versus Bradford but now face another play-off campaign.
Cheltenham had the better chances throughout the game but the Bantams were gritty and determined with a noisy support right behind them throughout the 90 minutes. The Robins' best opportunity came in the second half when Marlon Pack's header from the corner came back off the inside of the post but a stalemate was the result of the day.
Now Cheltenham Town must beat Northampton over two legs to reach Wembley for a second consecutive season and they head to Sixfields on Thursday first.
