Junior Robins will be able to watch league football for free next season.
Cheltenham Town are to throw open the gates and offer free league football to junior fans next season as well as offering season ticket holders a big new deal.
Youngsters of junior school age (11 and under) will have the chance to become a Junior Robin for free and sit or stand to enjoy all the league action at the Abbey Business Stadium for nothing next season.Â
Kids under the age of 11 will be able to enjoy league football for free next season by simply becoming a member of the Junior Robins and the membership costs nothing at all.
It’s the biggest ticket initiative the club has ever introduced and is being launched to win more young support. Download the 2013-14 Junior Robins form by clicking here.
Cheltenham Town chairman Paul Baker said: “We want more youngsters to come and enjoy football and to support the Robins. We want to encourage and welcome the fans of the future but we also want to make it as easy as possible for them.
“The Flying Squad we launched this season has been a big success and has shown just how many youngsters enjoy the opportunity to come and watch football. What we want to do now is to make it happen for as many children as possible and we have a responsibility to the local community to give as much as we possibly can.”
Over the next few weeks and months the FREE Junior Robins offer will be rolled out to all local schools, youth teams and other groups as part of the club’s plans for the future.
Season ticket holders are also being offered a bigger and better deal than ever with extra rewards. Prices are being increased by just ÂŁ5 but fans will get special deals on tickets for friends, hospitality at the club, discount at the club shop, half-price travel club membership as well as a free drink in the bar and there will also be bigger opportunities when it comes to high profile cup matches*. “Season ticket holders are our number one stakeholder,” added Paul Baker.
“We owe a lot to the hundreds of faithful fans who invest in the club. They are the foundation of this club and deserve the best deal of all.”
More information on season tickets will be made available here on www.ctfc.com next week.
The club will also be offering better value for 12 to 18 year olds as well as full-time students by fixing league match pricing at ÂŁ5 (terracing) and ÂŁ7 (seating) across the entire stadium.
All other ticket prices will be fixed in the summer when the club takes stock of the football year and price rises will be considered which means season ticket holders are being offered the best deal.
There will of course be the opportunity to buy Early Bird season tickets before or on May 31st to make further savings on season tickets for the new season.
Â
Paul Baker added: ”We have a great set of fans and can’t thank them enough for sticking with us over the years and we are doing our very best to give them value for money.Â
“For the club to keep building for the future, both on and off the pitch, we need them more then ever.
“I’m excited about the future at Cheltenham Town and we want as many fans as possible to enjoy the ride.”
