Troops for a tenner special offer for the Burton Albon match on 10th November.

Cheltenham Town are saluting the bravery of the armed forces by offering half-price tickets to all those who serve, for the game against Burton Albion at the Abbey Business Stadium.

Local firm Cotteswold Dairy has got behind this special day and will be sponsoring the match.

The club will be marking Remembrance weekend with a minute’s silence before the game on 10th November (3pm) but are also keen to welcome as many servicemen and women to the match as possible.

Ten pound tickets will be on offer to all those who attend the game in uniform and show their ID card.

The Gloucestershire College Army Cadets will be on duty as well to form a special Guard of Honour for the teams before the game. Along with the Army Cadet band.

Cotteswold Dairy Director, George Workman, said “We are delighted to be supporting this special game at Cheltenham Town FC and to be recognising the important role of our local service men and women”.

Nicole Mayall from the Royal British Legion is delighted that CTFC have given this special offer the day before Remembrance Sunday. “We will be selling poppies at the game and we are encouraging as many forces personnel to attend as possible. It’s a great idea and has so far been well received”.

Kick Off is at 3pm and ÂŁ10 troop tickets are available from the Club Ticket Office on the day of the match.
