FA Cup: Robins v. Yate

29 October 2012

All the information you need ahead of the weekend's FA Cup action.

Cheltenham Town will take on Yate Town in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday (3pm) and tickets are now available to buy.

Ticket prices will be exactly the same throughout the entire ground for ALL supporters and they will be:

Adults - £15
Concessions - £10
Juniors - £5

The Board of Directors have discussed the ticket prices at length and it was agreed that a reduced pricing structure for this game is the correct decision. Feedback has been taken from supporters and, while research has indicated that lowering ticket prices hasn’t improved attendances in the past, it is felt that it is the right option for this FA Cup game versus Yate Town.

Tickets will be available on the turnstiles on the day of the game but tickets are now available from the ticket office here at the Abbey Business Stadium and online too. Season Ticket holders are reminded that they will need to buy their tickets from the ticket office if they want to sit in their seat for this game. The seats will be reserved until Friday 2 November.

If you want to buy online then please click here for our Online Ticket Office. Alternatively you can ring the ticket office on 01242 573558 (option 1) or visit us here at the Abbey Business Stadium.

Season Tickets holders will also be given another incentive for buying their tickets in advance of the game. All season ticket holder that buy their tickets in advance will be put into a free draw and will be in with a chance of winning hospitality for two. The winners will enjoy lunch in the boardroom before sitting with the Directors to watch a match.

Supporters are also reminded to keep hold of their tickets stubs from this game. In the event of a high profile FA Cup match such as Tottenham last season, the stubs will be used in a priority system.

In other news, Reading have given their permission for young loan midfielder Lawson D'Ath to play in the FA Cup for the Robins. The 19 year-old scored on his debut for the club in the 3-0 victory over Exeter at the weekend.
