Benno Re-Opens Cirencester Dome

10 October 2012

Alan Bennett was the guest of honour at the re-opening of Cirencester Town FC's indoor dome.

Robins skipper Alan Bennett was the guest of honour at Cirencester Town FC to re-open their indoor dome on Monday afternoon.

The dome pitch has been completely re-surfaced with a 3G surface and the whole dome has been freshened up ready for action. The Cheltenham Town squad has often used the dome during the winter months because of freezing temperatures playing havoc at Seasons and Alan Bennett took time out to be the guest of honour and have a kick about with the children.

"The dome looks fantastic," said James Brown, media & communications at Cheltenham Town FC.

"We often go there throughout the winter months and Cirencester Town are always very accommodating when we need to train there. Alan went down to cut the ribbon and meet all the children that were playing there on the day.

"We have a close relationship with Cirencester Town so this was a pleasure for us."

If you would like to enquire about the use of the dome for junior football or even the adult 5-a-side leagues then please visit www.cirencesterarena.co.uk.
