Mark Yates praises his side's professionalism and believes Yate Town should be proud.
Mark Yates talking to the press after today's 3-0 FA Cup win over Yate Town:"It was professional. Credit to Yate because they played really well and they can be proud. They had a couple of good chances just after we took the lead but, apart from that, I thought we were pretty comfortable. We tried 4-4-2 which doesn't always suit us but once we got back our normal system we cotnrolled it a little more. It's a job well done. I always want them to do better but we'll take a good 3-0.
"They hit the post literally from us scoring but it was poor defending and I think Sido should have got a lot tighter but fortunately it didn't come back to bite us. Scotty has made a decent save to push it onto the bar soon after too. The attitude was decent enough but I think we could have made it a lot easier. Credit to Yate becuase they kept passing, playing and did non-league football and Yate Town proud.
"I picked a strong team and the eleven that started will all play games this season. We wanted to give Jermaine (McGlashan) a breather because he has been kicked about a lot recently and big Stevey Elliott hasn't trained for a few days so he didn't even come onto the bench. It does show we have got a good side.
"I'll be at a game somewhere tomorrow. You always want a home tie and obviously if you can get something from non-league then that is always good but I'm not sure how many are left. We have a tough game on Tuesday and that's what we'll be concentrating on now."
