Gold Challenge Grand Final!

8 November 2012

Cheltenham Town Football Club players will be completing their final part of Gold Challenge to raise vital funds for National Star College.

On Monday 12th November at 12:30pm, teams of players will reconvene to compete against each other in a Handball tournament, hoping to be crowned Gold Challenge Champions.

The players are asking the fans to get behind them by sponsoring them to complete their Gold Challenge, which has seen them compete in 5 different sports over the course of the season so far. The final Handball challenge will take place at Leisure@Cheltenham from 12:30pm – 1:30pm on Monday and the players are inviting fans to come along and watch them take on their team mates in their ultimate Olympic Challenge.

Darryl Duffy, Cheltenham Town striker says: “We were thrilled with the support we received in the first part of our challenge however we really need the fans to help us to raise as much as we can for National Star College. We feel very privileged to be able to support such a fantastic local charity whilst learning a new sport and we are looking forward to the challenge of taking on Handball in front of our supporters.”
