All The Information You Need Ahead Of Our First Pre-Season Match

Cheltenham Town take on Evesham United tomorrow afternoon (3pm kick off) in what will be the club's first pre-season match of the new season.

The Spiers & Hartwell Jubilee Stadium is a new ground and a perfect venue for ground hoppers who have yet to cross Evesham United's new stadium off their lists. It will of course be the first time Cheltenham Town have competed there and they will be looking to kick the pre-season off in style with most players aiming for 45 minutes each.

Evesham United play their football in the Evo-Stik Division One South & West and are also nicknamed the Robins. The Evesham we now of today was formed in 1945 when soldiers returning from action reformed the club and joined the Worcestershire League. Evesham were based in the Evo-Stik Premier division before relegation last season. Their highest league position was 9th in the Evo-Stik Premier Division. They are managed by Matt Clarke, a former Hereford United defender and one of their players to watch out for tomorrow is Ben Pugh, a former Hartpury College student who also had a spell with Forest Green Rovers.
